So, I’m going to try this one more time. I haven’t had the chance to meet anyone who reads my blog yet. There’s someone from Mt. Laurel, NJ who reads my blog on a very consistent basis, and I’m working on a project about 45 minutes from there off and on for the next couple of months, so I thought I would try to meet up with them. If I don’t get a comment or email (matthew.j.daniel@gmail.com) after this post – I’ll give up on it…but I thought it was worth a try…

So it’s a really sad desperate attempt at a jack-o-lantern, but before you say anything, hear this – it was my first, and the skin was so thick I had to use chain saw to get through it (not really, but just about). Chelsea did the S, or I would have massacred it. By the way – GO HOGS – slaughter the Gamecocks!

What’s on your pumpkin?
Can anybody tell me why I would get better sound out of a 10-yr old wired $100 sm-58 than I would out of a $500 wireless shure or $500 senheisser mic? Anybody with similar problems? It is just a matter of eq-ing it?

The countdown is on for vacation. This is going to sound so stupid to most, but we love to go to Branson, MO. Life is slow – the people are nice – and the focus is on Christ at Christmas. We love Christmas time up there, so we spend our anniversary up there, and we’ve got a condo set aside for the week leading up to Thanksgiving and then we’ll spend the rest of the weekend with our families!
Got the paperwork from GP yesterday – it’s official, I’m a full-time employee with benefits! Thanks God! It’s been an entire year coming, but it’s happening – and I’ve been given the title of Senior Training Specialist. I’ll let you know when I figure out what that is – but I do know it comes with more work.
What’s your favorite vacation spot?

Sitting down for the creative team meeting, so I’ll make this short.
We had Michael and Anavox in today to lead worship and they did an amazing job. They’re set list:
Let the Praises Ring
Did You Feel the Mountains Tremble?
Better is One Day
How Great is Our God
Thanks!

I’ve been away for nearly 6 days now and I miss my wife! New Jersey has been a good trip, but I didn’t get near enough accomplished – but that always depends on the customer.
I’m sitting in the airport paying a butt load of money to tell you that I’m still alive. My plane’s going to be 2.5 hours late in departure – but it’s gonna leave! I’m flying out of Philadelphia, and the weather is a bear – rain, rain, and more rain. After such a dry summer, the rain is nice to see. Chel and I were supposed to have dinner when I landed, but that’s not looking so good and it’ll be late before I get home.
The next 4 months are going to be crazy as far as travel is concerned, but I think I’m paying the piper for working at home.
Vacation in 4 weeks – wooohooo!
We have some special stuff happening with worship this weekend at UC – DON’T MISS IT!

I have someone from NJ who reads my blog regularly and I don’t know who you are…wanna volunteer yourself?

Okay – it’s time to play catch up. I just posted the set list I worked on last night. I had 48 blog postings in my Google Reader to read tonight. I’m at a client site this week and there’s actually no internet from the client site, so don’t count on much on the blog this week.
I checked in at 11:30 and crawled in the bed around 12:30 last night (after getting 4 different sets of directions and getting lost in the ghetto of Philadelphia). The last time I looked at the clock it was 2:30, so 5:30 came far too early! I sat through a 4 hour training course that was a yawner at best.
This project looks daunting at best – but I love a good challenge – I’ve just got to figure out how to reduce the travel for this contract. I can barely keep my eyes open – I’m going to sleep…
